Overview

For bulk updates of the SAGE Order Status field on purchase orders with a connected SAGE Supplier, a Map/Reduce script is used.

You can create scheduled deployments of this script to automate SAGE Order Status updates to run a defined schedule.

Configuration

  1. Find and View Script
    Go to Customization → Scripting → Scripts, find the Map/Reduce script titled "eXtendSageDE Update Order Status MR", and view it.
  2. Check Existing Deployments
    Confirm if there are any existing scheduled deployments or if a scheduled deployment needs to be created. In the example below, a default deployment is in place. To create scheduled order status updates, a new scheduled deployment needs to be added in addition to the default deployment.

  3. Deploy Script
    Click "Deploy Script" to create a new deployment. Create the new deployment by configuring the fields below. Set the fields based on your desired configuration.
    1. Assign a title.
    2. Assign an ID.
    3. Set the deployment as "Deployed".
    4. Configure your desired schedule.
    5. Set the Status as "Released".
    6. Set any other fields as needed.

  4. Save Deployment
After deployment, the SAGE Order Status field on purchase orders with a connected SAGE Supplier will be updated based on the applied schedule.
