Prerequisites


  1. Generate access tokens for eXtendVendor RFQ - Please refer to this article for details regarding access token generation.
  2. Email Template Configuration - 
    1. An email template is used for stylizing and configuring the email body which is sent through the External Vendor RFQ webform. 
    2. A rfqEmailTemp.html file will be available in the bundle. 
    3. Copy the rfqEmailTemp.html file to Templates: Email Template. 
    4. Create the Email Template record manually. While creating the email template, select the rfqEmailTemp.html file for the template and Record Type = Custom Record. 
    5. If you would like to create a custom email template (instead of the one included within the bundle) continue with the steps below. 
    6. Create a new HTML file with your desired fields and formatting. 
    7. Upload your HTML file to the Templates: Email Template folder in NetSuite. 
    8. Create the Email Template record manually.  While creating the email template, select the HTML file that you created for the template and Record Type = Custom Record. 

eXtendTech Vendor RFQ Setup 

To start configuring the eXtendVendorRFQ bundle, navigate to the bundle’s Setup Page. 

  1. Navigate to - eXtendTech > eXtendVendorRFQ > Setup.

  2. Credentials Configuration:

    1. Oauth Token Id - Specify the OAUTH Token ID. (Please refer to this link for details regarding access tokens generation)

    2. Oauth Token Secret - Specify the OAUTH Token Secret (Please refer to this link for details regarding access tokens generation)

    3. Sub Domain - Specify the subdomain for creating External RFQ Form URLs.  Note: If this field is disabled and already populated, you may have another eXtendTech Bundle in your account which already has a subdomain specified.

  3. Basic Configuration:
    1. Item Type - Specify the Item Type to be created by VendorRFQ.  The default Item Type is Inventory Item.
    2. Basic Price Level Id - Specify NetSuite’ Base Price Level internal id. 
    3. Currency - Select your NetSuite currency. 
    4. Item Id Prefix - NetSuite Item Ids generated from VendorRFQ will start with this defined prefix while constituting items.
    5. Email Sender - VendorRFQ Emails will be sent from this user.
    6. RFQ Email Template - Select the RFQ Email template to use as created by you in Email Template Configuration section.
    7. Setup Item - Select the Setup Charge Item (If Required). 
    8. Sample Item - Select Sample Charge Item (If Required).
    9. Additional Color/Location Item - Select Additional Color/Location Charge Item (If Required). 
    10. Mold Fee Item - Select Mold Fee Charges Item (If Required). 
    11. Company Logo(PNG) - Upload company logo and make sure that logo must be in PNG format. 
    12. RFQ Template - Upload RFQ template. Note: To be provided or uploaded by eXtendTech.
  4. Button Label Configuration (Opportunity): 
    1. CREATE/UPDATE ITEM - This is the button label which will be displayed on the Opportunity Record for creating a PIR line item on same line. 
    2. CREATE/UPDATE ITEM AND NEW - This is the button label which will be displayed on the Opportunity Record for creating a PIR line item on a new line. 
  5. eXtendFiles Settings:
    Note: This section will only appear if extendFiles bundle is installed in your account. 
    1. PIR REFERENCE FIELD ON EXTENDFILES - PIR reference field ID present on eXtendFiles record.
    2. RFQ REFERENCE FIELD ON EXTENDFILES RECORD - RFQ reference field ID present on eXtendFiles record. 
    3. FILE PREVIEW REFERENCE ON EXTENDFILES RECORD - Field having preview URL on eXtendFile record. This field will be used for showing uploaded file URLs on external RFQ form.
