Overview
The Advanced Search feature in eXtendASI-DE v1.5.13+ provides enhanced search capabilities using ASI API attributes, allowing for more precise item searches beyond basic keyword searches.
Prerequisites
For accounts with eXtendASI-DE installed before version 1.5, the advanced search requires manual enablement by a NetSuite Administrator. Follow the instructions in Enabling Advanced Item Search Page After Version 1.5 Upgrade.

Item Constitution
Items can be constituted from both list and detail views.

- To select specific item options, clear all selections by clicking on Clear All, and select the desired item options.
- To view all selected options, click More. A modal will open showing all selected options. You can clear any options from within the modal.
- When enabled in your account's eXtendASI-DE settings: Below the name and description column, a dropdown menu for selecting item type appears.
- Under the category column the primary and secondary (if configured) will be shown for selection.
- When you click the create button, a modal window appears where you can select your vendor and map it to the ASI vendor for item constitution.
From Item Details
To open the item details page, click on the item name from the Name and Description column.

Here are the key enhancements on the item details page from prior versions of eXtendASI-DE (prior to 1.5):
- The product interface now matches ESP's tab layout, including Product Details, Pricing, Imprint, Suppliers, and General Information sections. Field editing is clearer and the configuration process is streamlined with flexible color/size selection, automatic pre-selections, and clear pricing displays.
- ASI-specific tabs (like ESP) include:
- Product Details
- Pricing
- Imprint
- Suppliers
- General Information (includes Production & Shipping, Safety & Compliance)
- Product Details

- Direct linking to the Supplier's website
- Ability to view inventory information from the product detail page as well as from the NetSuite item record (when the information is available).
- New flexibility for individual color and size selection
- Constitution process simplified:
- All options pre-selected by default
- Clear display of pricing variations based on color and size
- All options pre-selected by default
If there are two or fewer items being constituted, the process will happen in real-time, as it does in the older version:

When the number of items being constituted exceeds 2, the constitution process is handled by a Map/Reduce script, and its status appears on the screen:

Upon completion, a confirmation page appears:
