Prerequisites 

Before adding center links, make sure that the center tab and center categories have been created. See Creating eXtendTech Center Tab and Center Categories for more information.

Center Links Creation

We recommend adding the following center links for easy navigation to eXtendASI functions.
  1. eXtendASI Setup
    This link will be used for configuring eXtendASI settings.
    1. Go to Customization → Scripting → Scripts and view the eXtendASI Suitelet 2.0 Suitelet.Image Placeholder

    2. Click the Deployments subtab and open the eXtendASI Setup deployment.Image Placeholder

    3. Under the Links subtab, add the center, section (center tab), category, and label.


    4. In the example above, we have used the "Classic Center" center type, "eXtendTech" center tab, "eXtendASI" center category, and labeled the link as "Setup".

  2. Item Search
    This link will be used for searching for ASI items using eXtendASI.
    1. Go to Customization → Scripting → Scripts and view the eXtendASI Suitelet 2.0 Suitelet.

    2. Click the Deployments subtab and open the eXtendASI Item Search deployment.Image Placeholder

    3. Under the Links subtab, add the center, section (center tab), category, and label.Image Placeholder

    4. In the example above, we have used the "Classic Center" center type, "eXtendTech" center tab, "eXtendASI" center category, and labeled the link as "Item Search".

  3. ASI Field Mappings
    This link is used to view or create field mapping records which will be used in in ASI item constitution.
    1. Go to Customization → Lists, Records & Fields → Record Types and edit the eXtendTech Field Mapping custom record.Image Placeholder

  4. ASI Integration Logs
    This link is for viewing the eXtendASI integration logs.
    1. Go to Customization → Lists, Records & Fields → Record Types and edit the eXtendTech Logs custom record.Image Placeholder

  5. Currency Mapping
    1. Go to Customization → Lists, Records & Fields → Record Types and edit the eXtendASI Currency Mapping custom record.Image Placeholder

  6. Item JSON
    1. Go to Customization → Scripting → Scripts and view the eXtendASI Suitelet 2.0 Suitelet.

    2. Click the Deployments subtab and open the eXtendASI Item Search JSON.Image Placeholder

    3. Under the Links subtab, add the center, section (center tab), category, and label.Image Placeholder

    4. In the example above, we have used the "Classic Center" center type, "eXtendTech" center tab, "eXtendASI" center category, and labeled the link as "Item JSON".

  7. ASI Vendor
    1. Go to Customization → Lists, Records & Fields → Record Types and edit the eXtendASI Vendor custom record.Image Placeholder

After adding the center links above, your center link will appear on your dashboard under eXtendTech → eXtendASI as shown below:
