Non-Matrix/Normal Items

If you have custom color field(and list) on item and do not use the one provided in eXtendESP bundle, please specify Item Field under COLOR FIELD and source-color list under NON VARIANT ITEM COLOR FIELD'S LIST ID in eXtendESP Setup.

Matrix Items

  1. If your account have Matrix feature enabled and you use colors as matrix options criteria, please specify matrix color-field under Matrix Option Field available in Variants Subtab and select Product Color as ESP SKU CRITERIA.
  2. Specify Source Color List for Matrix color field under VARIANT ITEM COLOR FIELD'S LIST ID.

Color Map

If you do not use colors list provided in eXtendESP bundle then you will have to create a mapping between your NetSuite item colors with ESP Colors since ESP have their own set of enumerated values for item colors. If your item color is not properly configured as per ESP then you will get errors while syncing your items.

For NetSuite-ESP Color Mapping, please follow below steps:

a. Navigate to eXtendTech > eXtendESPNetSuite-ESP Color Mappings

b. Depending on Matrix Feature and specified source NetSuite colors list, you will see either one or two different sub-tabs for color mapping one for Non-Matrix and other for Matrix items. For the first time, scripts will try to auto-map colors between NetSuite colors list and ESP colors, please verify auto mapped colors and add mappings for missing colors.

c. If the color required by you not present in the ESP color list then you can create your own ESP color by creating eXtendESP Item Color custom record using the combination of colors (upto 3 colors) and providing a name to it as per your use-case. ESP supports 3 level sub-colors which can be found in eXtendESP Item Color custom record.

Note: These mappings will be used to fetch correct/valid color to sync item from ESP to NetSuite or vice-versa. If you have more than one color field for Matrix items, you can contact eXtendTech Support to get it configured to fetch colors from multiple fields.
