We support syncing inventory for NetSuite items to ESP both in real time and on scheduled basis to keep your inventory in ESP up to date with NetSuite.

Enabling Inventory Sync


To sync inventories, please make sure ENABLE INVENTORY SYNC is enabled in eXtendESP Setup and if you have Multi-Locations enabled, please select the locations that you want to sync inventories from. 






How to Configure Inventory Information on items


Inventories for an item can be synced as

  1.  Inventory Override: This is item body field, if you want set a static value for inventory irrespective of the available inventories, specify value in this field.  
  2. Inventories from Location: ESP does not have location specific inventories, so sum of inventories across all the locations selected on eXtendESP Setup is sent.

Kit And Assemblies Inventory Sync


  • Assemblies out of the box are integrated as inventory items. That said, built stock on locations will be integrated to ESP. However, it is possible to customize the solution to send available to build as inventory to ESP. Please contact eXtendTech support if you need this to be configured.
  • If you need kit items to be able to send stock based on member items please contact our support team to get same configured.


How to Sync inventory


Real-time Inventory Sync

Upon editing and saving items inventory would be synced to ESP in real-time.

On-demand Inventory Sync 

You can sync your items' inventory details from NetSuite to ESP on-demand using eXtendESP Job Runners.
Below are the steps for executing on demand inventory sync from NetSuite to ESP:

a. Navigate to eXtendTech > eXtendESP > Job Runner

b. Select "NetSuite to ESP Inventory Sync" on ESP JOBS list. On selecting this option "NS TO ESP INVENTORY SYNC SAVED SEARCH" field gets active. Provide a item saved search which will be used to filter the items which will be considered for syncing to ESP.

c. Now click on submit button to initiate the inventory sync process from NS to ESP for the items which falls under the provided saved search.

Scheduled Inventory Sync

A Map/Reduce script "eXtendESP Inventory Sync M/R" is provided along with eXtendESP-SE bundle to execute inventory sync between NetSuite To ESP on scheduled basis.

You will have to create scheduled deployments of this script based on your requirement and you will have to provide an item saves search which will be used for considering the items to sync from NetSuite to ESP.
