Overview

Use the eXtendCreditConnect Setup page to configure email notifications, ASI Credit Connect credentials, and credit score button labels.

Prerequisites

Before you configure eXtendCreditConnect, make sure you have the following information:

  • The employee record to use for sending credit score update notification emails.
  • The email address that should receive credit score update notifications.
  • The customer saved search ID for the customers you want to update.
  • Your ASI Credit Connect endpoint and login credentials.
  • The customer record field that stores the customer’s ASI number.

Configuration

To configure eXtendCreditConnect:

  1. Go to eXtendTech → eXtendCreditConnect → Setup.


  2. Complete the fields in the Basic Configuration section.

  3. Complete the fields in the Credentials Configuration section.

  4. Review and update the Credit Connect Button Labels section, if needed.

  5. Save the setup page.

Basic configuration

Use the Basic Configuration section to define email notification settings and the saved search used for credit score updates.

  1. In the Email Sender field, select the employee record to use for sending credit score update notification emails.
  2. In the Email Receiver (Email for Credit Score Update Notification) field, enter the email address that should receive credit score update notification emails.
  3. In the Max Email Rows field, enter the maximum number of customer credit score update rows to include in a single email.
    • If the number of customer credit score updates is higher than this value, eXtendCreditConnect sends multiple emails.
  4. In the Customer Saved Search ID field, enter the saved search ID for the customer list you want to update.
    • Tip: In the saved search, sort the eXtendTech Credit Connect Score Last Update Date field from oldest to newest so customers with the oldest credit score updates are processed first.
  5. Check Do Not Send Credit Score Update Email if you don't want eXtendCreditConnect to send credit score update emails.

Credentials configuration

Use the Credentials Configuration section to enter your ASI Credit Connect credentials and customer ASI number mapping.

  1. In the Host Name field, enter the host name for the ASI Credit Connect endpoint.
  2. In the User Name field, enter your ASI username.
  3. In the ASI Number field, enter your ASI number.
  4. In the Password field, enter your ASI password.
  5. In the Customer ASI# Field field, select the customer record field that contains the customer's ASI number.

Credit Connect button labels

Use the Credit Connect Button Labels section to customize the labels for the credit score buttons.

  1. In the Update Credit Score field, enter the label to display for the update credit score button.
  2. In the View Credit Score field, enter the label to display for the view credit score button.
  3. In the View Credit Summary field, enter the label to display for the view credit summary button.

Q: What happens if there are more customer updates than the Max Email Rows value?
A: eXtendCreditConnect sends multiple emails so all customer credit score update information is included.

Q: How should I sort the customer saved search?
A: Sort the eXtendTech Credit Connect Score Last Update Date field from oldest to newest so the most out-of-date customers are updated first.

Q: Can I stop credit score update emails from sending?
A: Yes. Check Do Not Send Credit Score Update Email on the setup page.
