Version: eXtendFiles 1.7.0
and above
Audience: Administrator
Overview
eXtendFiles 1.7 and later feature a
more interactive and user-friendly
configuration interface for managing features
and settings. This article explains how to
enable this new page in compatible
accounts.
Prerequisites
- Administrator access to NetSuite and
eXtendFiles 1.7 or later installed in your
account.
- The legacy eXtendFiles Setup script deployment ID must be: CUSTOMDEPLOY_EXTEND_FILES_SETUP
If your deployment ID is currently customdeploy3 or any other
value, you'll need to update it to CUSTOMDEPLOY_EXTEND_FILES_SETUP to ensure compatibility with
the new configuration page. See
the additional notes section below
for more information.
Configuration
To enable the new configuration
interface, you'll need to create a script

center category

Template

your legacy eXtendFiles Setup page script
ID:

Suitelet script
- In the deployments list, find the
entry titled "eXtendFiles Suitelet"
and verify whether its script ID is
set to CUSTOMDEPLOY_EXTEND_FILES_SETUP

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: Can I customize the name of the
configuration link?
A: Yes,
though we recommend using "eXtendFiles
