Overview

To link eXtendFiles to Dropbox, a user with both Administrator roles in NetSuite and Dropbox must complete the required configurations.

Configuration

  1. In NetSuite, go to eXtendTech eXtendFiles  eXtendFiles.
  2. Choose "Dropbox" as the Storage Type.

  3. Click the "Click to Authenticate for Dropbox" button to initiate the authentication process.
  4. You'll be redirected to a Dropbox sign-in page. Log into your Dropbox account. Note: This step is skipped if you're already signed in to Dropbox.

  5. After signing in, a warning page will appear before connecting the app. Review the message and click "Continue" to proceed.

  6. Once the app is authorized, eXtendFiles will request access to its folder within Dropbox. Click "Allow".

  7. After granting access, eXtendFiles will link to your Dropbox account, and a success message will appear in NetSuite.

  8. An "eXtendFiles" folder in the "Apps" folder of your Dropbox account will be created. This folder will store files uploaded from NetSuite. From within Dropbox, this folder will only be available to the Dropbox account owner unless it has been explicitly shared with others within Dropbox.
