flexible functionality:
- Integrate files residing in a third-party hosted repository into your company-specific workflows, entities, transactions, and more directly within NetSuite.
- Bridge operations and workflow
with customers and partners which are OUTSIDE of the NetSuite ecosystem through a
flexible and customizable online web presentation and approval interface.
- Customers and partners can
upload new files and respond to existing files instantly in NetSuite using web-hosted forms. You can know at a glance
what files are pending customer response and receive instant notifications when
a response is received.
- Files can “flow” throughout the
transaction life-cycle. For example, files initially attached to an Opportunity or Sales Order record in NetSuite will be
available on related transactions, such as Purchase Orders, for quick access
without needing to navigate through related records.
- When using Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, or Dropbox as
your third-party hosted repository, File Versioning is available for viewing/restoring prior versions of a file. Note: Amazon S3 and Microsoft Azure require bucket versioning be enabled to utilize this feature.
- When using Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud as
your third-party hosted repository, Private Link support is provided by
eXtendFiles for secure link sharing. Note: Microsoft Azure always utilizes private files by the nature of their storage service.
