Summary

Currently, once a file has been created in NetSuite and uploaded to your connected cloud storage through eXtendFiles, it is not possible to change the file name. This means that if you change the name of the file in NetSuite after it has been uploaded, the new name will not be reflected in your connected cloud storage.

To manage this limitation, we recommend two possible solutions:

  1. Mark the existing eXtendFiles record as "Inactive" and upload a new eXtendFiles record with the updated name.

  2. Delete the existing eXtendFiles record and upload a new one with the updated name.

In both cases, make sure to upload the renamed file as a new eXtendFiles record to ensure the new file name is reflected in both NetSuite and your connected cloud storage.
