Problem

Upon opening an eXtendFiles Inline Link from a Sales Order (or any other inline link-enabled record) you see an error message instead of being able to see your file. The error message is: "The bucket you are attempting to access must be addressed using the specified endpoint. Please send all future requests to this endpoint."

Solution

Please ensure that the AWS [Bucket] Region specified in your eXtendFiles Setup is correct for your defined S3 bucket. From a NetSuite Administrator role, navigate to eXtendTech → eXtendFiles → Setup → Storage Information → Amazon S3.


You can view Amazon's full list of region codes and region names here. Check with your AWS administrator to confirm which region has been selected for your S3 bucket.
