Version: eXtendFiles 1.6.1 and above
Audience: Administrator, User

If you change the bucket name of your Amazon S3 storage on the eXtendFiles Setup page, the File Sharing feature will no longer work for files that were already uploaded to the previous S3 bucket.

You will no longer be able to generate Signed URLs for the records stored in your previous S3 bucket. However, the records uploaded to your previous bucket and the records which were marked as public prior to the bucket change will remain public and render on web-approval forms normally.

If you want to use multiple buckets, you can specify the additional bucket names under the Additional Buckets field in comma-separated format in the eXtendFiles Setup page. Make sure to update the IAM policy in Amazon AWS to include all of your configured buckets in your S3 account.

The File Sharing feature will only work for eXtendFiles records stored in the S3 bucket(s) connected to eXtendFiles.
