  • Configure the item fields that will be set when constituting an item from the vendor's item data.
  • Define hard-coded values, such as a custom form, and set mandatory and important fields.
  • Use more powerful SuiteScript-based field mappings when hard-coded or direct field mappings do not meet the requirements.
Before creating items with eXtendItem, you will need to establish basic field mappings based on your requirements. The link below contains common field mappings that can serve as a starting point for item mapping creation. These can be imported to the eXtendItemDB Field Mapping record using NetSuite's native CSV import functionality.

To manually create or update field mappings, open the eXtendItemDB Field Mapping custom record.

Go to eXtendTech → eXtendItem → Field Mappings and edit an existing field mapping or create a new one. Image Placeholder
