Overview
The Mobile-Optimized View preference in an eXtendMobile List View lets you configure a list view layout that’s optimized for the eXtendMobile app. When it’s enabled on a List View function, you can choose which fields appear as the Header, Main Title, and Subtitle on the mobile list screen. You can still drill-down into the full list view results when using the mobile-optimized view.
This setting applies to the eXtendMobile app only. It does not apply to eXtendMobile Web.

Prerequisites
- You have access to edit eXtendMobile functions.
- A List View function already exists (or you’re creating a new one).
- Any fields you want to use for Header, Main Title, or Subtitle are available on the list view results.
Configuration
To enable and configure a mobile-optimized list view:
- Create or edit your List View function.
- Enable the Mobile-Optimized View preference.
- Configure the following fields:
- Header (optional): The primary value shown for each row in the list.
- Main Title (required): A secondary line of text shown under the header.

Notes on how actions display
- If only one action button is configured, it displays inline to the left of the row.
- If multiple action buttons are configured, they are displayed underneath the row.
- On the drill-down screen, the header value displays with two action buttons.
- When you tap More, all action buttons display in the order they’re configured, including each action’s icon and label.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: Does this change anything in eXtendMobile Web?
A: No. The Mobile-Optimized View only affects how list views display in the mobile app.
Q: What fields are required?
A: Main Title is required. Header and and Subtitle are optional.
Q: What happens when there are too many action buttons to show on the row?
A: The list view shows the first few actions and hides the rest under the More icon. Tapping More shows all actions in the configured order with their icons and labels.
