Question
When you create, copy, or transform an Estimate (Quote) or Sales Order, you want to understand how the customer ship date is determined.
Answer
The customer ship date (field id: shipdate) applied to orders is based on NetSuite's shipping settings or other customizations that may be in place. eXtendOrders doesn't override these system defaults.
Solution
To change the default ship date applied to orders, you can:
- Modify your NetSuite default settings or other customizations that may be in place
- Add custom workflow or scripts to modify the default ship date
