Overview

There is a transaction body field named 'eXtendOrders Error'. This field is used to log any errors that occur during order processing, such as creating line items or copying pre-configured item order imprint configurations (OICs) to the Sales Order.

Note: Currently this feature is available on Sales Order and Purchase Order records only.

Below are the scenarios where this error field will be populated.

Error Scenarios

1. When creating an order with pre-configured items, if any errors occur while transferring the OIC lines from the pre-configured item to your order, a contextual error will be displayed in the 'eXtendOrders Error' field.

For example: If the OIC attached to your pre-configured item doesn't contain a main item quantity, then the following error message will be shown in the error field:
Pre-config OICs do not have Main item quantity
Please ensure you have defined imprint configuration and clicked save configuration button on the configurator UI

2. When using the "Create Lines Server-Side" button or scheduled scripts to create line items, any errors that happen during the generation of item lines from the OIC data will be recorded in the 'eXtendOrders Error' field.

For example: If the OIC information on the sales order record does not contain a quantity for any main items, the following error will be displayed:
Pre-config OICs do not have Main item quantity
Please ensure you have defined imprint configuration and clicked save configuration button on the configurator UI

3. Once you approve your sales order and purchase order records are created, any errors that occur during the creation of the purchase orders will be logged in the 'eXtendOrders Error' field on the purchase order record.
