Audience: Administrator, User

Overview

When using eXtendOrders 2.0 to write line items within the NetSuite user interface, some resulting line items may have missing values in the Price Level and/or Location fields.

This occurs when NetSuite takes too long to source the item fields at the line level during line item generation. As a result, the values aren't sourced before the process moves on to write the next line item.

Prerequisites

Access to the eXtendOrders Setup page in NetSuite.

Configuration

To resolve the issue of missing Price Level and Location field values:

Adjust Time Interval

  1. Navigate to the eXtendOrders Setup page in NetSuite.
  2. Locate the TIME INTERVAL BETWEEN LINE GENERATION(MS) field.

  3. Increase the value in this field to allow more time for NetSuite to complete data sourcing before writing the next line item and Submit the change.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Why are the Price Level and Location fields sometimes empty?
A: In some cases, NetSuite takes too long to source the item fields at the line level during line item generation. As a result, the values are not sourced by the time the process moves on to the next line to write the next item.

Q: How does increasing the time interval help?
A: Increasing the time interval between line generation allows more time for NetSuite to complete any data sourcing prior to writing the next line item, ensuring that all necessary fields are populated correctly.
