Introduction

This feature allows you to attach an Estimate/Quote PDF to an email and send it directly to a customer from eXtendPresentation. The PDF template is customizable according to your needs and can be configured using NetSuite's Advanced PDF/HTML Templates by your NetSuite Administrator.

Usage

  1. Begin by creating a new estimate/quote using a form that has eXtendPresentation enabled. If you're unsure which form(s) have this feature enabled, please contact your NetSuite Administrator.

  2. Fill in the necessary fields in the eXtendPresentation field group based on the presentation that you'd like to configure for your customer and then proceed by clicking the Send Email (Quote Record) button.

  3. When you click the button, an email containing the Quote attachment will be sent to the customer. Please note that to use this feature, you must have at least one item in the Quantity/Pricing table. The Quote attachment will be formatted according to the template that your NetSuite Administrator uploaded in the eXtendPresentation Setup page. The filename of the attached file will begin with a prefix that is configured by your NetSuite Administrator. This prefix will be followed by the transaction ID.
