You can share an eXtendPresentation hyperlink with your customer to get their response. The response they provide will be directly logged on your presentation record in NetSuite.

Entering responses on the Presentation form

  1. When you open the presentation link, a page displaying your presentation items will appear. The appearance of this page may vary depending on the customization performed by your NetSuite Administrator.

  2. Your customer can use this form to provide comments at the item level, as well as a general comment for the entire presentation.
     
  3. The user name and comments will be logged on the presentation record in NetSuite, as shown below. You can watch a demo video about the comments logging feature here to learn more details. Image Placeholder

  4. If the RETAIN EXTENDPRESENTATION COMMENTS HISTORY feature is enabled, the user name along with the comment and timestamp will be recorded in the “EXTEND PRESENTATION CUSTOMER COMMENTS” inline field. In this case, the presentation user name field will not be updated. If the external form is reopened, the next user can view the comments provided by the previous user(s).

  5. If the print functionality is configured by your NetSuite Administrator, the customer can generate a PDF printout of the presentation by clicking the document link shown at the bottom of the form. A sample PDF print is displayed below. The layout and appearance of this PDF print depends upon the configurations performed by your NetSuite Administrator. Image PlaceholderImage Placeholder
