Introduction

In eXtendPS-DE versions 1.2.8 and later, administrators are provided with an option to disable the execution of Map/Reduce scripts in Sandbox and Release Preview accounts. This feature is especially useful as it prevents unwanted queries to your live PromoStandards vendors based on Sandbox and Release Preview data.

Configuration

To enable this preference, navigate to the eXtendPS-DE Setup screen and enable the AVOID RUNNING M/R SCRIPTS IN SANDBOX ACCOUNTS preference on the Additional Settings subtab. Once enabled, all Map/Reduce-based batch jobs will cease execution in your Sandbox environment.
