For certain items that use the Live Inventory service, you may want to provide a hardcoded value for a specific quantity that is always available and in stock, rather than using the actual quantity reported by NetSuite. You can view a video demo of the process here.

  1.  To set an inventory override value, navigate to the item in edit mode and select the "PromoStandards" subtab. Note: the subtab may be named "eXtendPS-SE" or be in another location in your NetSuite environment.

  2. Find the "Inventory Override" field and specify the quantity value should always be returned in PromoStandards for the item and save the record.

  3.  Now, when queried, instead of the API sending the actual quantity value being reported by NetSuite, the override value will be sent.
