Overview

Order Status 2.0 introduces Unit of Measure (UOM) Mapping. This mapping was not available in Order Status 1.0.

Review and configure Quantity UOM Mapping as part of any upgrade from Order Status 1.0 to Order Status 2.0.

Prerequisites

Before you configure Quantity UOM Mapping:

  • Identify any units of measure used on your orders or lines besides EA.
  • Confirm which PromoStandards-compliant value should be returned for each unit of measure.

Configuration

Quantity UOM Mapping is configured on the eXtendPS-SE Order Status Setup page at eXtendTech → eXtendPS-SE → Order Status Setup.

Understand the default UOM behavior

If Quantity UOM Mapping is left blank, Order Status 2.0 defaults to EA.

If your account only uses EA, no additional mapping is required.

Map non-EA units of measure

If your account uses any unit of measure other than EA, that unit must be mapped on the eXtendPS-SE Order Status Setup page’s Quantity UOM Mapping sublist.

Without this mapping, orders or lines that use a non-EA unit of measure won't return the correct UOM in the Order Status response.

Review before activating Order Status 2.0

Before activating Order Status 2.0:

  • Confirm each non-EA unit of measure is mapped.
  • Review orders or lines that use non-EA units of measure.
  • Confirm the expected UOM value is returned in the Order Status response.
