Use Case
- Placing Purchase Orders to AlphaBroder with acceptance for short shipment for an order.
Feature Details
There are cases when the item quantity you are ordering to AlphaBroder is not fully available with AlphaBroder. In those cases when you will try to place PO to AlphaBroder your PO placement will fail with the following error format - Failed to place PO to AlphaBroder, Purchase Order Id - XXXXXX due to - 525 Order not placed - Short Ship = No
If you still want to place your order to AlphaBroder with the available quantity then you can check the checkbox for short ship (a field that was configured by your administrator for short ship) and again try to place the order. This time your order will be placed and a warning message will be received in the response which you can view in the integration logs as shown in below screenshot -
On PO placement the order# will be saved under field ALPHABRODER ORDER NUMBER and you can create bill and fulfillments using eXtendAlphaBroder bill and fulfillment creation from AlphaBroder response as a normal order.

Note: If you check the checkbox for short ship and the item quantity is fully available with AlphaBroder then your order will be placed in full.
