If the eXtendDAC bundle is installed in your account and you have assembly items with dynamic components, then you will be able to configure those dynamic assembly items directly from item selection modal as shown below.

1. Open the Add Items modal and select a dynamic assembly item.

2. Upon selecting the dynamic assembly item, a Configure Assembly Component button will appear at the bottom of the item selection modal as shown below.

3. Click the Configure Assembly Component button to configure your assembly item’s dynamic components as shown below.

4. In the above example, there are two dynamic components in this assembly item. To select the final item, choose from the list of swappable items for each component and click Done to save your configuration.

5. Upon Saving the sales order record, a work order will be generated (the timing of this will depend upon your NetSuite configuration) for this assembly item and specified components.
 
Note: This functionality is supported only on the Sales Order record.
