Overview

While eXtendFiles inherently has no explicit file size limits, you should consult your NetSuite Administrator to see if any custom file size limits have been set up on the eXtendFiles Setup page (as shown in the Configuration section below).

With the default configuration, you can upload files of any size, provided they do not exceed your cloud storage's own file size limits. Consult your cloud storage's documentation for details on their maximum supported file sizes.

Configuration

For NetSuite Administrators, see the configuration options below for file size restrictions.

Add file size restriction

If you want to apply a file size restriction explicitly, you can do so from the eXtendFiles Setup page.
  1. Go to eXtendTech → eXtendFiles → eXtendFiles.
  2. Select the File Uploads Restriction subtab.
  3. In the FILE SIZE LIMIT FOR UPLOADS WITHIN NETSUITE(IN MEGABYTE) and FILE SIZE LIMIT FOR PUBLIC UPLOADS(IN MEGABYTE) fields, specify the custom file size limit you want to apply to internal file uploads and to public uploads.

When trying to upload files with a size greater than the restricted value, a Maximum allowed file size exceeded message will be shown to the user.
