Problem

When attempting to upload a file using the eXtendFiles inline upload feature, "No results found" is shown in the File Type list.

Solution

This issue occurs when the current user does not have permissions to view custom lists in NetSuite. To access and render the File Type list, the current user's role will need to have view access to the "Custom Lists" permission.

To address the problem, follow these steps from a NetSuite Administrator role (or a similar role with role editing permissions):

  1. Edit the role experiencing the problem.
  2. On the Permissions Setup sublist, add the "Custom Lists" permission with at least "View" access.
  3. Log out of the role and log back in.
