Use Case

  • Create eXtendMobile App Roles which can create, update, or use functions in the eXtendMobile application.
  • Create eXtendMobile App Roles which can use functions that have been assigned to them.

Summary

An eXtendMobile App Role is used to define access permissions which can be assigned to an eXtendMobile user. To set up and manage user access to the eXtendMobile application, you need to set up eXtendMobile App Roles that can be assigned to eXtendMobile App Users.

Roles can either be administrators or non-administrators.
  • Administrator roles will have access to create, edit, delete, and apply functions to other roles.
  • Non-administrator roles will have access to execute functions.
If you are creating roles for the first time in your account, it is recommended to create an administrator role first and then assign it to a user. This will allow the creation of functions within the eXtendMobile application using this role.
