Problem

When submitting functions from eXtendMobile, the response from NetSuite is not visible. You need to check the bell icon to track the update status.

Solution

When the response from NetSuite is not received in real-time after a function is submitted, ask your eXtendMobile Administrator to enable the Synchronous Saving setting for the function. Once enabled, the response from NetSuite will be shown immediately on screen using a snackbar with the processing details.

The limitation with this option is that the response from NetSuite will only show the internal ID of the record that was created or updated. However, in case of NetSuite submission errors, you will see the actual error message right away.
