Overview

If you encounter the error message "You have entered an Invalid Field Value XXXXXX for the following field: custrecord_extend_item" while adding or updating pre-fulfillment records, this article provides a potential solution. This error can occur when using either the CSV Import Method or the Manual Method.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Upon receiving the error, navigate to the associated item or items in NetSuite.
  2. Verify that none of the items are marked as Inactive. This option is usually found on the System Information subtab.

Please note that if items are marked as inactive, they will not appear in the search results when the pre-fulfillment process is searching for associated item records.
