The eXtendOrders bundle includes a custom NetSuite workflow that can be used to validate generated OIC records during their creation. This validation is applicable both during manual record creation within the NetSuite application and during CSV uploads of OIC records.

This enables you to immediately correct any errors that occur during OIC record creation for pre-configured items. This prevents errors later in the process when an invalid pre-configured OIC is used.

Note:

  • Enable this workflow prior to the creation of OIC records for pre-configured items.
  • Currently, there are limited validations being performed for OIC records which are manually created outside of the eXtendOrders Deco Configurator. Therefore, we recommend using the Deco Configurator UI to create OICs whenever possible.
