Overview

The eXtendPS-DE service-based credentials configuration allows you to manage multiple PromoStandards service credentials for vendors. This feature is useful when vendors use different credentials across their PromoStandards services and when various service providers are used across their endpoints.

Prerequisites

Before configuring service-based credentials, you'll need:

  • PromoStandards endpoint URLs from the vendor or PromoStandards website
  • Service-specific credentials from your vendor

PromoStandards Endpoint URLs

Your vendor's PromoStandards endpoints are typically listed on the PromoStandards website. If available, follow the steps in Configuring your NetSuite Vendor with PromoStandards Services Endpoints to set them up on the vendor record. If the endpoints aren't listed, you'll need to request them from your vendor.

PromoStandards Credentials

For the credentials needed to access your vendor's PromoStandards services, contact the vendor directly. They will provide specific credentials for each service you plan to use.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Can I create multiple credential records for the same service?
A: While possible, we recommend updating existing credential records instead of creating duplicates. The system will use the first matching credential record it finds.

Q: Can I modify service labels in the eXtendPS-DE Service list?
A: No, modifying service labels will cause credential matching to fail. Keep the original service labels intact.
