Overview

You can add PromoStandards credentials and endpoints to your vendor records who offer PromoStandards services in bulk using a NetSuite CSV import. To update your NetSuite vendor records with your PromoStandards credentials and endpoint information, you can use the provided CSV template file.

Method 1


1. Enter your vendor's NetSuite internal id in Column A.

2. Populate the CSV file above with your vendors' PromoStandards information.

3. Go to NetSuite's Import CSV Records page at Setup → Import/Export → Import CSV Records.

4. Select the Import Type as "Relationships", Record Type as "Vendors", and select your import file. Click Next.Image Placeholder


5. On the Data Handling page, select "Update" for the import type and click Next.

6. On the Field Mapping page, map any fields which weren't automatically mapped from your CSV fields to the NetSuite eXtendFiles fields and click Next. Note: automatic mapping is dependent on the field labels in your NetSuite environment.Image Placeholder

7. Save your CSV Import for future use by giving it a name and clicking the Save & Run button.

8. After your CSV Import is complete, the Vendor records will be updated in NetSuite with your PromoStandards information.

Method 2

1. You can create a NetSuite saved search with the results columns in the CSV file above after linking your NetSuite vendors with PromoStandards vendors. See Configuring your NetSuite Vendor with PromoStandards Services Endpoints for more details on linking NetSuite vendors with PromoStandards vendors. This way all the endpoints of the vendors linked will auto-populate on the vendor record.

2. Export your saved search to CSV and then edit it to add the Vendor ID and Vendor Secret as received from your vendors and add any missing or updated end points. Then update your vendor record using this CSV file with NetSuite's CSV import using the CSV import steps from Method 1.

Note: If eXtendPS-DE is not yet installed in your account, update this CSV file with your vendor and endpoint information and upload it on the eXtendPS-DE Questionnaire provided by eXtendTech.
