Overview

The item type restriction feature is useful if you want to prevent certain item types from being returned in the PromoStandards Product Data and Product Pricing & Configuration responses.

Note: By default, the following item types are never returned in PromoStandards responses:
  1. Discount
  2. Markup
  3. Description
  4. Sub-Total
  5. Non-Inventory item for Purchase
  6. Payment
  7. Item Group
In addition to these items, you can explicitly restrict other types of items from being included in the responses for the Product Data and Product Pricing & Configuration services.

Configuration

Product Data

To configure item type exclusions for the Product Data service, go to eXtendTech → eXtendPS-SE → Product Data Setup and update the Exclude Item Types field under the Other Configuration subtab.

To configure item type exclusions in the Product Pricing & Configuration service, go to eXtendTech → eXtendPS-SE → P&C Setup and update the Exclude Item Types field under the Additional Configuration subtab.
