Overview
When using eXtendPS-SE, you can suppress or exclude certain items, transactions, or service responses based on a set flag, as needed.
Live Inventory & Product Data Service Response
To perform an item exclusion, there is a checkbox on the item that will suppress the item from presenting in the PromoStandards Live Inventory and Product Data service response.
- Edit the item to be excluded.
- Select the eXtendPS-SE subtab. Note: the subtab may be named 'PromoStandards' depending on your environment.
- To suppress the item from being returned in the inventory search results, set the eXtendPS-SE – DO NOT SHOW checkbox so that it is checked. Note: the field may be named 'Do Not Show' or 'PromoStandards - Do Not Show' in your environment.
- Save the item.
Note: When dealing with assembly items, if the "suppress assembly components" preference is not enabled in your PromoStandard settings, all assembly components will be included as parts, even if they are marked as "eXtendPS-SE-Do Not Show".
