SanMar provide limited number of ship methods to be used for placing purchase orders to them. A custom record "eXtendSanMar Ship Method" is provided along with bundle for this purpose.
Creating SanMar Ship Methods
For creating supported SanMar ship methods for mapping them with your NetSuite please follow below steps:
1. Navigate to Customization > Scripting > Scripts
2. Search for suitelet "eXtendSanMar Suitelet" and go to its deployment "eXtendSanMar Create Ship Method Record".
3. Click on the URL to create default SanMar ship method records.
4. On successful creation of these ship methods a success message will appear on screen as shown below:
5. To view the created SanMar ship method records navigate to Customization > List, Records & Fields > Record Types > eXtendSanMar Ship Method > List
Note: These SanMar ship methods are specifically provided by SanMar and these values can only be used for placing purchase orders to them, so it is highly recommended to not edit any of these records to avoid any errors while placing SanMar purchase orders.
Mapping NetSuite Ship Methods to SanMar Ship Methods
Once SanMar ship methods records are created then follow below steps to map them with NetSuite ship methods:
1. Navigate to eXtendTech > SanMar > Setup
2. Go to "Purchase Order" tab.
3. Under "NetSuite to SanMar Ship Method Mapping" subtab select your NetSuite ship method and select the SanMar ship method with which you want to map it.
