Version: eXtendFiles 1.6.5

BEFORE YOU UPGRADE:
Features:
  • NetSuite has issued a formal notification that the Outbound Single Sign-on (SuiteSignOn) method will be deprecated starting in 2024 (https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite/ns-online-help/section_158921905537.html). The OIDC provider feature in NetSuite, which uses the OAuth 2.0 authentication process, is now implemented in eXtendFiles. This ensures that the deprecation of the outbound SuiteSignOn does not affect eXtendFiles.
  • Authentication improvements have been made to automatically reauthenticate with eXtendFiles when the current OIDC session expires, but the user is still logged into NetSuite. Previously, the user had to reload the page in NetSuite if the authentication with eXtendFiles had expired.
  • Automatic Approval URLs and Public Upload URLs can now be more easily generated using a new configuration option. See Auto Generate Approval or Public Upload URL for details on the new configuration option.
  • Custom eXtendFiles Attributes can now be captured when using the Public Upload feature. See Configure Public Upload Feature on NetSuite record for details on configuring Custom eXtendFiles Attributes.
Enhancements:
  • Subfolders can now be connected when using eXtendFiles with Google Drive. Configuring Google Drive Subfolder for eXtendFiles.
  • Added support for connecting eXtendFiles to a Shared Drive in Google Drive.
  • Improved handling of authorization with Dropbox.
  • Improved the migration processes from the NetSuite File Cabinet to Microsoft OneDrive and Microsoft Azure. In some cases, HTML files were migrated instead of actual files.
  • You can now drag and drop files directly from Classic Outlook on Windows to eXtendFiles.
    • Note: this is available only for original "Classic" Outlook application. Drag and drop file upload does not currently support "New" Outlook.

  • Improved handling of file names in the NetSuite File Cabinet that contain special characters when being migrated to a new cloud storage.
  • A new "Do Not Make File Public" setting is now available on the eXtendFiles Setup page. This setting allows Microsoft OneDrive/SharePoint files that are uploaded (when the user-based file upload feature is not used) to be prevented from being set as publicly accessible.
  • It is now easier to create a default folder-based sharing rule. See Configure Folder Sharing Rule for more information on folder sharing rules.
  • The display of the eXtendFiles Inline Upload has been improved to show additional custom metadata for files.

  • The display and user interface of the Public Upload page have been improved.
