Overview

eXtendFiles provides a feature to allow you to specify the criteria for the files which will be shown in the File Picker. This allows you to show or hide particular files based on their associated field values.

Saved Search Creation

  1. Create a saved search against the "eXtendFiles" record type and add the criteria for the files you want to be included in the File Picker.

File Picker Configuration

  1. Go to eXtendTech → eXtendFiles → eXtendFiles.

  2. Select the File Picker subtab and Basic File Picker Configuration sublist.

  3. Add your saved search's ID in the "File Picker Saved Search ID" field, and Save the setup page.

After configuration, the File Picker will show eXtendFiles which meet the criteria of your saved search.
