A running list of possible error messages and solutions for eXtendFiles Inline Upload is below.

Error: Cannot read property "Map" of undefined
    1. Possible instances:
      1. When using the Inline Upload feature.
      2. When performing an eXtendFiles upload using the New eXtendFiles button within NetSuite.
    2. Possible issue:
      1. The current user doesn't have permissions to Edit the record on which they are uploading eXtendFiles.
      2. The current user's Subsidiary is different from the record's Subsidiary on which the user is uploading eXtendFiles.

Error: You have entered an Invalid Field Value XXXX for the following field: custrecord_extfile_xxxxxx
    1. Possible instances:
      1. When using the Inline Upload feature.
      2. When performing an eXtendFiles upload using the New eXtendFiles button within NetSuite.
    2. Possible issue:
      1. The current user doesn't have permissions to Edit the record on which they are uploading eXtendFiles.The current user's Subsidiary is different from the record's Subsidiary on which the user is uploading eXtendFiles.

Error: "No results found" shown in the File Type list

    1. Possible issue:
      1. The current user doesn't have permissions to view custom lists in NetSuite. The current user's role will need to have View access to the "Custom Lists" permission for the File Type list to be accessible and rendered. "No results found" shown in the File Type list during eXtendFiles Inline Upload

Issue: The inline upload is showing while in View mode but is not showing while in Edit mode.

    1. Possible issue:
      1. The custom form used when viewing the record is different than the custom form used when editing the record, and the form used when editing the record isn't configured for use with the inline upload feature.
    2. Possible issue:
      1. The eXtendFiles Client Script is not deployed. The eXtendFiles Client Script is used in edit mode with inline upload. If this script is not deployed, the inline upload may not be visible. See Configure the eXtendFiles Inline Upload Feature for information on script deployment for inline upload.
