Overview
This article explains how to manage file migration, file conversion, and signed URL generation settings in eXtendFiles in sandbox and release preview environments.
Configuration
Controlling File Migration, File Conversion, and Signed URL Generation in Sandbox & Release Preview
By default, file migration, file conversion processes (thumbnail and preview generation), and signed URL generation are disabled in Sandbox and Release Preview environments. To enable these processes:
- Navigate to Setup → eXtendFiles → eXtendFiles Configuration. Please see Add eXtendFiles Configuration Page Link if this link isn't present in your environment.
- Navigate to eXtendFiles Settings → Advanced Settings, and the locate the ALLOW FILE MIGRATION/CONVERSION IN SANDBOX & RP ACCOUNTS setting.
- Check the box to enable file migration, file conversion, and signed URL generation processes in your Sandbox or Release Preview environment.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
