Overview
The following is a guide on resetting
user passwords in eXtendMobile. This
feature is particularly useful for
allowing users to establish their own
password upon account creation, or for
resetting their eXtendMobile
password.
These instructions are for those utilizing
Standard Login in eXtendMobile. If your
organization is using Single-Sign-On
(SSO)
Login in eXtendMobile, contact
your Microsoft Administrator for
assistance with login credentials.
Configuration
An eXtendMobile password can be reset by
a NetSuite Administrator or by an
eXtendMobile user.
NetSuite (Administrator)
In NetSuite, the following steps need to
be taken:
- Navigate to eXtendTech →
eXtendMobile → Mobile App
Users.
- Open the user for whom you want to
reset the password in edit
mode.
- Set a new password for the user and notify them of the new password.

eXtendMobile App (User)
On the user side, the following steps
need to be taken:
- Open the eXtendMobile application.
A login page will appear.
- Tap the "Reset Password" link.
- Specify the subdomain for your eXtendMobile environment and your username. If you're unsure of your subdomain, check with your NetSuite Administrator.
- Tap "Reset Password", and an email
will be sent to your associated
email address with a password
reset link. If you do not have an
email address, check with your
NetSuite Administrator for a
password reset.
- After opening the password reset
link in the email, specify your
new password.
Password reset emails are only
sent in Production environments.
For non-Production environments,
such as Sandbox and Release
Preview accounts, contact your
NetSuite Administrator to perform
a password reset.
eXtendMobile Web (User)
- Open the eXtendMobile web
application. A login page will
appear.
- Tap the "Reset Password" link.
- Specify your username
- Click "Reset Password", and an email will be sent to your associated email address with a password reset link. If you do not have an email address, check with your NetSuite Administrator for a password reset.Password reset emails are only sent in Production environments. For non-Production environments, such as Sandbox and Release Preview accounts, contact your NetSuite Administrator to perform a password reset.
- After opening the password reset link in the email, specify your new password.
