To utilize the eXtendMultiFulfillment application, follow these steps:

1. Open the sales order record you wish to use with the eXtendMultiFulfillment functionality.
   
2. Click the “Specify Pre-fulfillment Details” button to configure the pre-fulfillment records.
   
   
   
   
   
   Here, you will specify the products that will be shipped to each unique ship-to destination. See Manually Enter Prefulfillment Records for instructions. In the example below, we've defined four pre-fulfillment records.

   
3. Create a NetSuite item fulfillment which includes the inventory details (quantities, bins, serials, lots, etc.) for the entire sales order. This inventory will be used in the eXtendMultiFulfillment process. In the example below, our NetSuite item fulfillment has a quantity of 4. This is the required amount to complete the four pre-fulfillments, each defined with a quantity of 1.
   
4. When ready to divide the NetSuite item fulfillment into the specific ship-to destination item fulfillment records, click the “Multifulfill” button on the sales order.
   
   
   
   
   
   This action will extract the inventory from the NetSuite item fulfillment and build item fulfillments using the pre-fulfillments defined earlier. Using our original NetSuite item fulfillment and our four pre-fulfillment records, four multifulfillments were created, as shown below.
