General Login Errors

Problem: Upon logging into eXtendMobile you see an error: Search error occurred: Record 'scriptrecordtype' was not found.

Resolution: Please make sure the access token user role has the View level permission to the SuiteScript permission.

Best Practice: We recommend that you compare the role differences of your access token user with the bundled role EXTENDMOBILE SERVER USER and ensure any missing permissions are added.


Problem: Users receive the error Error occurred while validating user due to - Invalid credentials. Please try again during login.

Resolution: Verify that the username and password are correct. Ensure that there are no extra spaces or incorrect characters. Reset User Password in eXtendMobile.


Problem: Users receive the error Failed upon getting access token with Status-Code: 400, error invalid_client during login.

Resolution: Verify that eXtendMobile is configured for your environment and that you have an active internet connection.


Problem: Users receive the error Failed while getting access token. Error: invalid_client during login.
Resolution: View the troubleshooting steps in Resolving "Invalid Client" Error When Logging Into eXtendMobile.

Single-Sign-On (SSO) Login Errors

The following errors are primarily related to SSO login or SSO configuration for a user and may be displayed in eXtendMobile when attempting to login:

Problem: Azure Tenant ID is not configured on the setup screen. Please contact your administrator.
Resolution: Have a NetSuite Administrator review Single-Sign-On (SSO) Login in eXtendMobile to complete SSO setup for eXtendMobile as an Azure Tenant ID is required.
Problem: Azure Tenant ID does not match. Please contact your administrator.
Resolution: Have a NetSuite Administrator review Single-Sign-On (SSO) Login in eXtendMobile and ensure the correct Azure Tenant ID has been configured.
Problem: Missing email in user's Azure account details.
Resolution: Have a NetSuite Administrator complete the User Record Configuration from Single-Sign-On (SSO) Login in eXtendMobile for the user.
Problem: Failed to validate Azure session.
Resolution: Have a Microsoft 365 Administrator review if there are any service issues. This error indicates that the login couldn't be processed by Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory).
Problem: User's Azure credentials didn't match.
Resolution: The user's configured Azure Email ID in NetSuite didn't match with Azure.
Problem: An error occurred while logging in via Microsoft.
Resolution: Have a Microsoft 365 Administrator review if there are any service issues. This error indicates that the login couldn't be processed by Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory).
Problem: Login using password is not allowed. Please use SSO login.
Resolution: SSO has been configured in your NetSuite environment for eXtendMobile. Either login to eXtendMobile using SSO or contact your NetSuite Administrator to enable the "Enable Password Login for SSO" preference on your eXtendMobile Users.
Problem: Invalid credentials. Please try again.
Resolution: No eXtendMobile User found or the user's configured Azure Email ID in NetSuite doesn™️atch with Azure. Contact your NetSuite Administrator to review your eXtendMobile Users record in NetSuite.
